Tuliaisia tupaan

Way to go girl!

Just as I thought, it wasn't hard at all to find something to buy from the fabulous Stockholm. The Christmas star made out of recycled cotton paper is from Granit, as well as the rubber stamps. And then there's my long time dream come true: Norm 69 pendant by Normann Copenhagen. It comes in 69 pieces that you have to fold into right shape and then put them together in a certain order to form the actual light. We did that last night with my hubby and oh boy, it almost brushed up our fingertips but we finally made it!

We bought that Norm 69 from a store called Illums Bolighus, which is a must see if you're into Danish and other Scandinavian design. They have all the coolest brands under same roof, Muuto, Hay and Design House Stockholm to name a few.

I was a bit scared of not having enough time but luckily that wasn't the case. Partly because we knew exactly where we wanted to go to, so we didn't waste time on wandering around aimlessly. And the other reason was that we ran out of money long before the time was up. This meant that we also had time to walk the beautiful little alleys of the old town, which were decorated nicely for Christmas. I'd love to show you pictures but I forgot our camera to our cabin in the ship.. Way to go girl!

We did also buy some clothes but I won't be telling much about them now. If I had made it to Cos before we ran out of money, I'd show clothes too. Maybe next time..

  4. I love Norm 69, and sat down yesterday, thinking if I should buy that one or Muutos Mhy. I bought Muutos Mhy, and now I almost kind of regret it...
